December18 will be the first annual “Dr. Alyssa Summey Day” in Collin County since County Commissioner, Joe Jaynes, named the day after her in 2008.  Dr. Alyssa’s passion is helping others awaken the healing potential inside us all and giving back to the community.  That passion was what compelled Commissioner Jaynes to honor her in Collin County.

Dr. Alyssa, and the other alternative health care practitioners in RejuveNation, are raffling off $1000 worth of their services to a lucky winner and a guest of their choice!  Other grand prizes include a getaway travel package for two and many more products and services from local McKinney restaurants and shops.  Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event for $1 each or six for $5.  ALL money collected for the raffle goes to Meals on Wheels of Collin County. Live music, appetizers, and wine are complementary.  Doors open at 6pm with a special address by County Commissioner Joe Jaynes and Dr. Alyssa Summey at 7pm wherein the raffle winner will be chosen.

Meals on Wheels has been hit the hardest with state and county-wide budget cuts.  Help us give back to those in need for the holidays.
